All data available through STEWARDS are in the public domain, and are not restricted by copyright.
Publications utilizing data from STEWARDS must include formal acknowledgement of the data provider.
“Datasets were provided by the USDA-ARS (laboratory name and location provided in metadata files that accompany data downloads). Funding for these datasets was provided by the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service
The data providers may be contacted to review the research results to ensure sound scientific data interpretation in the context of our historical results and their in situ experience with these data. Such contributions should be acknowledged through co-authorship and formal acknowledgement of field and/or data support in the manuscripts.
